In 2023 and 2024, HEW sponsored a Teach-in on Climate and Justice global initiative at the University of New Brunswick. The Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week is organized by Bard College in upstate New York, with over 200 concurrent events on the day. At UNB, HEW has brought together local groups of educators, staff, and students in thinking about, talking about, and building communities committed to action on climate change.
